Microsoft office is essential to life as a college student. How effectively one knows how to use these instruments can result in a good or bad grade. In CIS 1020, Mrs. Jensen taught us how to properly use Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, so we may be better able to create works of art from the computer.
Here are some of those "Works of Art":
Here are some of those "Works of Art":
Word
The Word portion of the final project came the easiest, as I had already used many of the features before hand but, there were many things I did not know how to use and now I do. The word documents put together by my group and I consist of: a cover page for our final project and a letter to the President of the College.

Excel
I think most will agree that Excel was by far the most difficult of the Microsoft Office programs to do. Mainly it was the formulas, trying to get them exact so that when you put a certain number in one cell another cell will change to compensate for the change in the first cell. It was definitely confusing but, once I got a hang of it, I could see that there were many benefits to knowing how to use the program.

Powerpoint
The final program the class worked on was Powerpoint. Which is a very good program if someone is going into business or a study similar because, it is very useful when presenting an item or subject to a group. The difficulty to learn how to use the program wasn't nearly as hard as Excel but, slightly more difficult than Word.
